“I HIGHLY recommend the MTP teaching program. The list of things I loved about my experience is lengthy.  The program is challenging at times, but it’s WORTH IT.  In my example, I was doing my MTP program, while completing my internship and am a wife and mother of three very active kids.  At the time, I had a 4, 6, and 8 year old.  It was a challenging time but doable.  The program is incredibly detailed.  Not only do you learn about the fascinating history and philosophy of Montessori, but you learn how to give about 800+ lessons in the subjects of language, writing, math, history, geography, sensorial, practical life, music, faith, and art.  It’s an AUTHENTIC Montessori program.  Many programs claim to be a Montessori program when they aren’t or they claim to be Montessori inspired.  MTP is a completely authentic Montessori program.  I haven’t even mentioned the MTP instructors yet!  Sharron is an awe inspiring teacher.  Her passion for sharing her knowledge and experience is infectious and exciting.  Sharron has an understanding of children, their perspectives, how they see and experience life like I’ve never seen before.  Most teachers understand the subject they teach.  She understands the students and how they learn and brings that to her instruction in a passionate and exciting way.  Understanding the child’s perspective is key to being a successful teacher and you get that in the MTP program.  Sharron has a rich background in helping setup schools, training teachers, and leading a classroom and teaching children.  On top of all of this, a portion of the training is designated to helping you understand what you will need to do to open your own school.  As a graduate, I’m in my 7th year of teaching and my 3rd year of owning a small school with my sister.  I’m living the Montessori teaching dream thanks to the MTP program. There is a huge demand for Montessori schools and a huge demand for teachers.  I encourage anyone interested to take the plunge and enroll in the MTP program.  You won’t regret it!” – Kimberly Baxter
