Am I eligible for your program?
Applicants must have at least two years of college education or two years of experience working with young children in a classroom (or a combination of the two).

What documents are needed to apply?
Along with your application please include 3 letters of recommendation, a 2-page personal essay on your goals for completing your Montessori training, any transcripts/diplomas/certificates you've received and a co-signer agreement if you've selected the monthly payment plan. For international students please also include a copy of your passport/visa, any I-20 forms from previous school and bank documents showing proof of funds.
When do you accept new students and when does your program start?
Our first term starts in August and our second term starts in January. Though we accept students on a rolling basis.
What days are classes?

Can I take a summer break?
Our school year ends in June and resumes in August. July is considered our summer break.
Do you offer any scholarships?
Unfortunately, not at this time. However, if you're currently working at a licensed daycare participating in the Early Achievers program, you may be eligible for a Child Care Aware Montessori Pathway scholarship.
Will you help me find an internship?
We are able to provide a list of schools to reach out to as well as pass along any schools that are currently looking for interns. Ultimately it is the student's responsibility to find an internship placement.
Can I do my internship in another state?
This is challenging since every intern needs 3 field supervisions. We recommend doing your internship locally and then moving to another state.
Does your school offer any work study?
Not currently at this time.
Does your school offer health insurance?
Not currently at this time.
Can I teach in other countries/states with my MTP certificate?
Yes, with a MACTE seal from the U.S. Education department your certificate will be recognized in the U.S. and overseas.
International Students:
Do I need to submit my original or translated transcript?
Please submit both.
Who is Dr. Montessori? Do I need to take an English proficiency test?
Yes. If you've completed one already, please submit with your application materials. If you have not, we will connect you with an advisor to set up a time to take the test.
If I have an F-1, can I transfer to your school?
Yes, we accept transfer students.
Can you issue I-20s?
Yes, we can issue I-20s.
